All credit for this idea goes to hinky -- when she told me, I was literally like, "YES! Why hadn't I thought of that before??"
For those of you who don't know, I'm going to be attending the Australian convention in Sydney next month where I'll get to meet Jared. I'll hopefully get to meet Genevieve as well, if she comes down with him, but obviously I don't know. Anyway, after informing hinky of some not-very-nice comments made by some fans at the recent LA Con, she decided she was going to write Gen a letter, letting her know not all Supernatural fans hate her and feel the need to say crude remarks about her. I, naturally, jumped on this and decided I would as well.
We know Gen knows some [if not all] of the things being said about her from the advice she gave to Julie. She mighn't take it personally, but it wouldn't hurt to let her know she has some fans out there.
We intend to give our letters to Jared during the autograph session for him to pass onto Genevieve [unless we see her first].
If anyone here would like to join us in letting Gen know she does have some fans out there, feel free to write a letter (preferably in Word) and email it to me. I'll print them all out, pop them in envelopes and make sure they get to her [well, Jared, at least].

If anyone who wants to particpate could get me their letter by April 13, that would be great - that way I have a few days to print them off and organise it all 
ETA: A few housekeeping things
1. It goes without saying, please make all letters positive. Even if you don't like Ruby, don't write a page about how her interpretation sucks. All I'll do is forward the email back to you and not include it in the final package.
2. I'll obviously have a quick read of everything, but I won't show it to anyone else. I also won't mention anything you mention in the letter to anyone else. Keep in mind people other than Genevieve may read your letter when deciding what to say/write.
3. It is my intention all letters will be in unsealed envelopes - I'm anticipating Jared may be slightly suspicious at first so I want to give him the option of reading one or two himself, just so he knows we're supporting Gen and not tearing her down. If anyone has any major issues with this, let me know when you email me your letter.
4. Please keep all letters to one page if possible - two pages MAXIMUM. It's gonna cost me money to print, so I don't wanna be printing out essay's.
5. I'm intending to put a name on front of each enevelope, using whatever name you sign your letter off with. If you want something different, let me know.
